European Radon Association - RADON WEEK

More details coming May 2018.  This week will have a number of different workshops.  See below for details.

24-25 September 2018

ERA Radon Mitigation Course

Now open for registration until June15th, 2018: http://www.form-dacd.app.supsi.ch/form/view.php?id=41446

Due to limited number of participants (max. 20 people), admissions will be confirmed by June 30st.

The course will be held by experts of the AARST, ERA and SUPSI. A certificate of participation will be issued.  Can be used for C-NRPP CE Credits, not for C-NRPP Certification.

Fee: 600 CHF (equivalent to approx. 500 EUR), to be paid after confirmation of admission.

ERA Workshop, ERA General Assembly and KSR

Open for registration from Friday May 25th, 2018.

The topic of the 2018 ERA workshop is Radon in national building codes.

Tentative Program of the day: 09:00 - 12:00 ERA Workshop; 12:00 – 13:00 joint meeting ERA-KSR; 13:00

Standing lunch; 14:30 – 16:30 ERA General Assembly. KSR will meet in a closed group.

Fee: 80 CHF (equivalent to approx. 65 EUR) for the ERA Workshop. ERA General Assembly free admission.


27-28 September 2018

Radon Outcomes on Mitigation Solutions (ROOMS)

Open for registration and abstract submissions from Friday May 25th, 2018.

Tentative Program of the day: starts at 09:00, ends at 17:00. Main contribution will be on mitigation and prevention issues, mainly focusing on case studies, including problems and failures.

Thursday evening, 27.9. Gala dinner at Lugano lake

Friday afternoon, 28.9. Guided tour in Lugano city

Fee: 120 CHF (equivalent to approx. 100 EUR), including 1 lunch, 3 coffee breaks, gala dinner, guided tour.


RADON COMPANIES EXHIBITION STANDS

Radon related products from companies can be exhibited from 26 to 28 September at simple stands. For the conditions, please contact the organizers at radonweek@supsi.ch.


ACCOMODATION

Individual booking: each participant is encouraged to book his/her own accommodation. Please note that September is high touristic season in Lugano, so it is advisable to book as early as possible. Check the Lugano Tourism Office website http://www.luganoregion.com/en or the web portal www.booking.com.

ERA members will benefit of a special discount on registration fees.
