A special feature at this year’s conference will be an optional day-long field trip. Exclusively for CARST members, the field trip will feature a visit to the National Research Council’s radon test facilities, a large building walk-through from a measurement and mitigation perspective, and a hands-on look at radon in water. Last year’s inaugural field trip was hugely popular and sold out quickly, so sign up early if you don’t want to miss out! Space on the bus is limited.
Option A: 1/2 Day Commercial Mitigation & 1/2 Day Tour of National Research Council's facilities
Rob Mahoney will walk you through the Ottawa Hospital conducting various diagnostic tests while discussing various aspects of Commercial mitigation.
Option B: 1/2 Day Tour of National Research Council's facilities and 1/2 Residential Mitigation
Colin Dumais will walk you through a radon mitigation while discussing the new CGSB Standard and compare it with previous Canadian mitigation guidance.
Both options will include lunch and transportation to various locations.
